The mixing chamber (2) contains a close fitting control- and cleaning piston (6) uncovering the inlets (21,22) on retraction, and advancing forward, to close them. The outlet opening (20), connects normally into the outlet chamber (13). This too has a closely fitting piston (3), retracting from behind the outlet opening (20) and advancing to the outlet chamber's (13) open end (14). At the mixing chamber exit (20), a throttle, preferably of the sleeve valve variety, is formed between the exit opening (20) and a port (23) in the adjacent casing surface of the exit chamber, so arranged to permit relative sliding motion. The throttling port may be slid upward towards the end face of the retracted piston (3).
