The folding wallet for waiter cash collection has extended cash and document compartments in which one or more compartments has an internal light source, especially cold discharge lamps (14, 15). Within the wallet compartments, the lining is of reflecting or luminous material. One compartment has an extended light source. A power source is built in, consisting of a number of cylindrical accumulators or batteries. The wallet lights may be switched on by a light sensor according to the ambient light level.
