A method of producing a translucent laminate, the method comprising the steps of: providing a mixture of an epoxy resin and a curing agent therefor; and curing the epoxy resin to form a translucent reaction product which forms an interlayer between two translucent panes, the curing step having a first phase in which the resin is partially cured relatively slowly, optionally at a relatively low temperature, and a second phase in which the curing of the resin is completed relatively rapidly, optionally at a relatively high temperature.
