<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for making a decorative material with a surface layer of PVC sheet having a glassy surface. CONSTITUTION:In the method for laminating a polyvinyl chloride sheet of 0.3-1.5 thickness having a glassy surface of a multi- or mono-layer on the base material of a medium density fiber board or a particle board, the polyvinyl chloride sheet A is laminated on the top panel of the base material B with a polyurethane or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer type emulsion adhesive. The polyvinyl chloride sheet A is stuck to the curved side of the base material B using a fixed roller C while they are being heated. In this way, the two-dimensional fabrication of a decorative PVC sheet is made possible which gives better glassy surface and higher productivity as compared with membrane vacuum molding.</p> |
