PURPOSE:To obtain a water purifier in which chlorine odor, microorganisms and lead in drinking water are removed and useful minerals are not removed by providing a section packed with active carbon, a section packed with powder of ceramics of calcium phosphate and a section packed with hollow yarn filter membranes. CONSTITUTION:In a case 1 of a water purifier, the 1st section 6a packed with active carbon 2, the 2nd section 6b packed with powder 3 of ceramics of calcium phosphate, such as hydroxyapatite and tertiary calcium phosphate, and the 3rd section 6c packed with hollow yarn filter membranes 4 are formed. A space between the hollow yarn filter membranes 4 is packed with the similar powder 3 of ceramics of calcium phosphate. Between the 1st and 2nd sections 5a, 5b, a porous partition plate 6 is arranged. By passing drinking water through the purifier, chlorine odor, mildew odor, lead and other contaminants, microorganisms, etc., are removed by the active carbon 2, the powder 3 of ceramics of calcium phosphate, and the hollow yarn filter membranes 4 respectively to perform purification. |
