LAMINATING METHOD OF SMOOTH FILM

PURPOSE: To certainly inspect the quality of a film and to enhance the yield of a product laminate by transferring embosses to the surface of a smooth film and superposing and laminating the film and a plate-like material or other film one upon another to subject them to autoclave treatment. CONSTITUTION: A smooth film 1 is nipped between rollers 2, 3 while the roller 2 having an embossed surface is heated to transfer an embossed pattern to the surface of the film. Subsequently, the film 1 and a plate-like material or other film are superposed and laminated one upon another. A technique for superposing and laminating the smooth film and the plate-like material one upon another is performed by a roller nipping method or a vacuum laminating method. A plastic film is used as the smooth film. The temp. at a time of the nipping by the embossing rollers is pref. 60-200 deg.C and the mean depth of the transferred embosses is pref. 0.5-50μm. Further, nip pressure is pref. 0.5-100 kg/cm as linear pressure and a nip speed is pref. 0.2-20 m/min.
