PURPOSE:To obtain a Pb-based composite perovskite-type ceramic composition capable of stably giving a sintered material having desired composition. CONSTITUTION:This process relates to the production of a Pb-based composite perovskite-type ceramic composition having the 1st site composed of Pb or Pb and an atom substituting a part of Pb and the 2nd site composed of plural atoms other than Pb. The process comprises a step to prepare the raw material composition by excessively compounding a Pb oxide to get a molar ratio A/B higher than the target value (A is total molar number of atoms constituting the 1st site and B is total molar number of atoms constituting the 2nd site) and perform the direct or indirect judgement of the molar ratio A/B of the raw material composition or a sintered material produced by using the raw material composition and a step to add the atom constituting the 2nd site to the raw material composition in the form of oxide to an extent to get the target molar ratio based on the real ratio A/B obtained by the above judgement. |
