<p>PURPOSE:To provide a hinge mechanism for opening/closing body which can facilitate the erection adjustment of an opening/closing element such as a trunk lid. CONSTITUTION:In this hinge mechanism, a lower bracket mounted on both the right and left side parts of a trunk room opening is jointed with an upper bracket 11 mounted on the corresponding position of the lower end part lower surface for a trunk lid (opening/closing element) through front and rear link members 7, 8, whereas the upper bracket 11 is formed out of a stationary bracket 12 mounted onto the trunk lid, and a movable bracket 13 to which the front and rear link members 7, 8 are jointed. The movable bracket 13 is mounted onto the stationary bracket 12 so as to rotate around a hinge pin 19, and the rotating position of the movable bracket 13 to the stationary bracket 12 is made variable by a rack and pinion means (adjusting means) 18, 24. Only by turning the pinion 18 and rotating the movable bracket 13, a relative inclination angle of the lower bracket to the stationary bracket 12 changes, so it is possible to adjust the inclination angle of the trunk lid easily.</p> |
