PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain composition excellent in piezoelectric strain characteristics, Curie temperature, durability, and variation hysteresis, and especially suitable as a piezoelectric actuator and a piezoelectric sensor. CONSTITUTION:This piezoelectric porcelain composition comprises a composite perovskite type compound containing at least Pb, Zr, Ti, Zn, Sb, Ni, Te, and at least one of Sr and Ba and satisfying inequalities: 0<=x<=0.14, 0<=y<=0.14, 0<x+y, 0.01<=a<=0.12, 0.002<=b<=0.020, 0.43<=c<=0.58, when a composition formula showing the molar ratio of the metal elements is represented by Pb. |
