PURPOSE:To produce an apatite fibrous body having high purity of the apatite and satisfactory strength. CONSTITUTION:A spinning soln. contg. an ionic org. high molecular compd. forming a water-insoluble calcium salt, slightly water-soluble calcium phosphate and water is spun in a hardening soln. made of an aq. soln. contg. a water-soluble calcium salt to form a composite spun body consisting of a water-insoluble org. high molecular compd. and slightly water-soluble calcium phosphate. This spun body is compacted into a desired shape and fired to produce the objective apatite fibrous body. |
