摘要

PURPOSE:To produce expandable thermoplastic resin particles which give a foamed molding having high water- and moisture-absorbing capacities and allowing no separation of a water-contg. gel. CONSTITUTION:Expandable thermoplastic resin particles are prepd. by incorporating 0.5-10 pts.wt. hydrocarbon blowing agent into resin particles prepd. from 100 pts.wt. non-water-absorbing thermoplastic resin and 0.01-400 pts.wt. water- absorbing thermoplastic resin.
