CATALYST FOR PRODUCING METHANE CONTAINING GAS

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a catalyst for producing methane containing gas high in thermal durability and capable of stably keep the activity of a catalyst even in using under a high temp. condition for a long time. CONSTITUTION:A basic salt solid containing an alumina component and a nickel component is formed by allowing an alkali treated alumina obtained by suspending and treating a fine alumina hydrate or a gamma-alumina in an alkali aq. solution to contact with a nickel nitrate aq. solution at >=60 deg.C. And this catalyst for producing methane containing gas is a nickel/alumina catalyst, which is obtained and molded by mixing the obtained basic salt solid with a calcium aluminate cement and treating the obtained mixture under the hydraulic condition of the calcium aluminate cement and is molded for producing mthane containing gas by gas phase catalystic reaction of methanol or a 2-15C soft hydrocarbon compound.
