<p>PURPOSE:To recover plating metals and high-purity iron at a high yield by charging plated materials into a vessel of a vertical type from the top of the vessel, dropping these materials while lowering their falling speed, supplying a heating gas from the bottom and evacuating the inside of the vessel to a vacuum. CONSTITUTION:The plated materials 9 which are galvanized steel sheet scrap are charged from a charge port 7 at the top of the vertical type vessel 2 installed with many rack parts 12 between side walls 11. The plated materials 9 receive the deceleration of the falling speed in these rack parts 12 at the time of falling in the vessel 2. The inside of the vessel 2 is evacuated to the vacuum by a vacuum pump 6 via a zinc trap 5 simultaneously therewith. The heating gas is then introduced into the vessel 2 from a heating gas supply port 4 in the bottom. As a result, the plated materials 9 are sufficiently heated to evaporate the plating zinc. The zinc vapor is recovered in the zinc trap 5 without forming harmful zinc oxide. On the other hand, the iron scrap materials of the high purity from which the plating zinc is completely removed is taken out of a leading out port 10 of the vessel bottom.</p> |
