PURPOSE:To provide a bag for food keeping agent which can be accurately checked for the addition of the bag to foods. CONSTITUTION:The parts 2 containing the ferromagnetic material having ferrimagnetism or ferromagnetism are formed on a bag 3 for food keeping agent. The bag 3 is packed with the food keeping substance to form a food keeping agent pack 4, the pack 4 is added to a predetermined food and whether or not the food keeping agent pack 4 is added to the food can be thoroughly checked by a metal detecting device which detects the presence of the ferromagnetic material contained in the pack.
