PURPOSE:To provide a guide for a rolling line which hardly generate seizure with a wire and has improved durability in a rolling stage. CONSTITUTION:This guide 1 for the rolling line is constituted by providing a ceramic guide body 10 which has a cylindrical external shape with a through- hole consisting of a tapered hole 12 and a straight hole 14. The end 12e of the tapered hole 12 constitutes an inlet and the tapered hole 12 constitutes a convergent shape having a taper angle theta from this inlet 12e toward a transition part 13 from the taper hole 12 to the straight hole 14.
