PURPOSE: To reduce the axial length of an auxiliary unit drive and to enhance its strength by positioning a freewheel between a planetary gear carrier and a relatively rotatable part, and providing means for surrounding the freewheel, the planetary gear carrier and a brake with a belt pulley, etc. CONSTITUTION: This auxiliary unit drive is used at a shaft end 1 and has a belt pulley 13 and a carrier 7 having a plurality of planetary gears 8, 6. The first planetary gear 8 engages a first gear 9 which rotates together with the shaft 1 and the second planetary gear 6 engages a second gear 5 which rotates relative to the shaft 1. A disconnectable brake 4 is provided between a fixed part and a movable part 18 and a freewheel 16 for preventing reverse rotation of the second gear 5 is provided. In this case, the freewheel 16 is positioned between the carrier 7 and the movable part 18. The freewheel 16, the carrier 7 and the brake 4 are surrounded radially externally by the belt pulley 13, and the belt pulley 13 and the carrier 7 are joined in rotary engagement. |
