PURPOSE:To sufficiently stir expandable resin particles near the side wall of a preexpander and at the bottom of the wall by using a stirrer blade which has an inclined part and a scraper each in a specified shape. CONSTITUTION:A stirrer blade of a preexpander which is rotated by a shaft 25 to stir expandable resin particles in a vessel 23 has an inclined part 29 formed on the side close to the shaft 25 and a scraper 34 installed on the side close to the side wall of the vessel 23. The inclined part 29 has a surface inclined toward the bottom of the vessel 23 in the direction of the width, i.e., the direction of rotation. The scraper 34 is inclined in the direction of rotation. The resin particles are moved from the wall side toward the center of the vessel 23 by the scraper 34, then moved upward by the inclined part 29, and thus sufficiently stirred. |
