PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a May-check disease-like disease on spinach by controlling the concentration of sodium in an irrigation water and the concentration of calcium in the absorption-residual aqueous solution, respectively, in a thin film water culture method so that the spinach absorbs the sodium. CONSTITUTION:When the concentration of sodium in an irrigation water by a thin film water culture method is lowered to <=20ppm, sodium is added to the irrigation water to give a sodium concentration of approximately 25ppm, and when the concentration of calcium in the irrigation water is lowered to <=20ppm, the No.2 additional manure solution (calcium nitrate solution) is dissolved in the absorption-residual solution in the same amount as or more than the No.1 additional manure solution. |
