<p>PURPOSE:To execute construction with simple work and to inexpensively purify a river by installing a pebble unit whose confronting side walls are formed in at least net shape and in the container of which a stone is housed extending over the full width of the river. CONSTITUTION:The pebble unit 2 is constituted in such a way that a bar shape body 21 made of fiberglass reinforced plastic foaming body is assembled in a box shape container, and a net 11 is stretched on the side plane, and the stone 23 such as the granite porphyry with barley of comparatively rough and large in diameter is housed. When the contruction to purify the river is performed, protective piles 3 are driven in a width direction in three lines first. Thence, the pebble unit 2 is installed at the upstream side of the river of the protective pile 3 by lifting by a wrecker truck, etc. Such installation is performed by installing first protective piles 3 in two lines/three stages, and the next piles 3 in two lines/two stages, and last piles 3 in two lines/one stage, respectively. In this way, an aerobic bacteria can be bred by entrapping the air by the flow of the river, and the digestion of an organic matter can be performed. and also, sludge, etc., can be eliminated by attaching on the stone 23.</p> |
