<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for machining and calking of the thin wall part for loading a bearing, and miniaturize the mounting part of a turn signal lamp switch by pressing the bearing for turnably supporting a steering shaft into the opening part of a column head, and fixing the body of the turn signal lamp switch to the column head. CONSTITUTION:A column head 13 made of syntetic resin is mounted to the upper part of a steering column 12 by a set screw 21, a bearing 14 is pressed into the center part of the column head, and a circular opening part 131, into which a steering shaft 11 is inserted, is formed. The bearing 14 is pressed and fixed into the large diameter part 133 of the opening part 131. The body 151 of a turn signal lamp switch 15 is then mounted to the column head 13. As a result, the shape of the steering column 12 becomes simple to eliminate the need for a mounting part for the bearing 14. Further, the assebling manhours for assembling the column head 13 and the turn signal lamp switch body 151 can be reduced.</p> |
