PURPOSE: To automatically extract coffee without wasting any portion of coffee powder and the flavor, by grasping portions of coffee powder arranged on a carrier tape within a storage cask, and removing them one by one. CONSTITUTION: A pin member installed at a receiving member 4 is engaged with the breakout of a carrier tape 14, 14A through a slot on a closing cover 15. When the lower part 3 of the extraction chamber and the receiving member 4 rotate, the uppermost part 13 of coffee is sufficiently raised from a container 12, then falls into a hollow 31 by gravity. The carrier tape 14 is cut off at the perforations. An actual extraction chamber is composed of two chambers 2, 3, and the extraction cycle is started when rotation of the drive motor of a driving shaft 5 stops. When the driving shaft 5 starts rotation, the lower part 3 and the hollow 31 turn downwards to discharge spent coffee powder by gravity into a waste container 10, while preserving next coffee powder in the container 12 with good flavor. |
