PURPOSE:To reduce an adverse effect such as heat distortion, etc., on a metallic mold and the outer plate of a hemming working part and to improve the efficiency of heat energy. CONSTITUTION:A work 1 set in a state assembled between the terminal part 4 of the outer plate 2 and the terminal part 5 of an inner plate 3 by interposing a thermosetting adhesive 6 is disposed the disposing part 11 of a lower metallic mold 9. The flange part 4a of the terminal part 4 of the outer plate 2 is pressed by protruding a spare bending punch 20 from the side of the placing part 11, and it is folded against the surface of the terminal part 5 of the inner plate 3. When the spare bending punch 20 presses the flange part 4a, the flange part 4a in magnetic flux generated in a coil 15 for high frequency induction heating to which energized insulation process is applied in the spare bending punch 20 is induction-heated, and heat generated in the flange part 4a is propagated through the curvature part of the terminal part 4 of the outer plate 2, and the thermosetting adhesive 6 is thermally hardened. After the spare bending punch 20 is saved to the side of the placing part 11, a regular bending punch 10 presses the folded flange part 4a of the terminal part 4 of the outer plate 2 from the upper side, and it is connected tightly to the terminal part 5 of the inner plate 3. |
