PURPOSE: To save an expense without using a tin plate shearing machine and to provide a method for manufacturing a sleeve shaped printing form capable of accurately cutting a plate as a size. CONSTITUTION: A plate 1 having a width of a plate cylinder is cut slightly longer than a length set as a size of a printing plate, and cut as a sizes by laser beams 6a, 6b functioned as cutters of the plate 1 mounted in a welder in the state bent to match its register. At least one chip pieces 7a, 7b are generated, and thereafter the pieces 7a, 7b are removed, and ends of the plate for forming the printing plate and rear ends 8a, 8b are opposed so as not to be overlapped and welded. |
