PURPOSE:To provide a low permeability base cloth for an air bag which is prevented from the occurrence of a fray during a cutting work and light and excellent in containing ability as mechanical characteristics necessary as an air bag are held. CONSTITUTION:A manufacturing method for a base cloth for an air bag is such that, in an air bag formed of a synthetic resin cloth, impregnation treatment is applied on the cloth by using at least one kind of resin dilution solution selected from synthetic resin consisting of a polyamide, a polyester, a polyurethane, a resorcinol formalin, an acryl, a styrenebutadien, and a nitrile butadien system. |
