<p>PURPOSE:To exactly analyze the state of the occurrence of an automobile accident while efficiently using a semiconductor memory by incorporating the semiconductor memory means in a housing and providing a lock means for preventing the semiconductor memory means from being ejected when the accident occurs. CONSTITUTION:The driving state of an automobile at normal time is time sequentially stored in a volatile memory part 21 at the intervals of fixed time as data while including the stopping state, when the storage area of this memory part 21 is turned to a saturated state, the data stored before are erased and new data are successively received. When an accident occurs, data on a prescribed time and minute from just before the accident to the occurrence of accident required for analyzing the accident are transferred/stored from the memory part 21 to a non-volatile memory part 22. At the same time, the device itself is locked by a lock means 8. Thus, the device efficiently and effectively utilizes a semiconductor memory 2, and the exact data can be presented to the third person who judges the accident.</p> |
