摘要 |
PURPOSE: To obtain the radiation sensitive photographic element capable of reducing change of optical density due to locally exerted pressure by limiting incorporation of iodide into small parts selected out of a total silver halide grain group and selecting an iodide level and distribution of the iodide in the selected small parts. CONSTITUTION: This photographic element comprises a support coated with flat silver halide grains high in flat grain degree and the flat grains are divided into at least 2 kinds, and the flat grains have a face-centered cubic lattice structure formed by silver bromide, and the iodide content in the selected parts in the range of 25-75% of the silver in the total flat grains distributed into the crystal lattice structures is additionally increased from 0.5mol% of the average iodide content in the flat grains to <5mol% in an optional position of the flat grains.
