PURPOSE:To enable optical communication regardless of the placed direction for the main body of a communication terminal by switching the array of the optical signal of the communication part of the main body opposed to the optical communication part of the communication terminal to a fixed array of signals. CONSTITUTION:A terminal side discriminates a vertical direction or a a hrizontal direction for a screen. When the screen is used in the horizontal direction, the 'reception 2' to 'reception 5' and 'reception 1' to ''reception 4'' of the transmission/reception element part 22 on the sie of a terminal are connected with the port 'reception 2' to 'reception 5' and the port 'reception 1' to 'reception 4' of an external connector 25 in a wiring switch part 24 by the instruction from a controller because the 'transmission 1' of the transmission/reception element part 22 does not emit. When the terminal is placed in the vertical direction on a main body, the 'reception 2' to the 'reception 5' and the 'reception 1' to the 'reception 4' of the transmission/reception element part 22 on the side of the terminal are switched so as to select prescribed lines in the wiring switch part 24, the transmitting/receiving direction of a signal is adjusted so as to guarantee the signal as the one which is the same as the signal to be outputted from the external connector 25 at the time of the horizontal direction or normal communication. |
