PURPOSE:To execute the rotation of an image and the rotation processing of a mirror at high speed as against plural image data whose number of bits in one picture element differ and to inexpensively constitute an image processor. CONSTITUTION:Image data are alternately written into buffer memories 9 and 10, and they are alternately read. Image data which are read from the buffer memories 9 and 10 are synthesized into word data of prescribed bit width by the use of a word synthesis circuit 13. Reading from the buffer memories 9 and 10 and writing into the word synthesis circuit 13 are controlled in accordance with the indicated angles of rotation and mirror rotation. At the time of writing from the word synthesis circuit 13 into a page memory 17, a write order is controlled in accordance with the rotation angle. |
