发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DEFECT CORRECTION METHOD
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To correct pixels and to improve a display grade by forming light shielding films consisting of a photosetting resin in the positions corresponding to the defective pixels on a polarizing plate on an exit side of a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:The photosetting resin is applied on the polarizing plate 7 on the exit side of the liquid crystal display device 1 formed by sticking a transparent substrate 3 formed with TFTs and a transparent substrate 2 formed with black mask patterns and the light shielding films 15 are formed by self- alignment in the positions corresponding to the light leaking from the defective pixels and line defects existing in the device. This method is particularly effective for the case largely inclined incident light exists with the optical system of the projector or for such an optical system which is arranged with the liquid crystal display device 1 with inclination at several degrees with the incident rays.</p>
