PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for the synthesis and division of data and to reduce the overhead by storing data to be strided whose storage position is specified in a specified storing destination by a synthesized or distributed format. CONSTITUTION:A stride data storage position storing means 1 stores the storage position of data of a group in a disk device e.g. A stride data storing destination storage means 2 divides the data to be strided and stores plural pointers indicating the headers of plural packets to be sent to other computers. A partial data size storage means 3 stores the size of partial data to be distributed and included in each packet. A stride processing means 4 distributes the data of one group stored in the disk device e.g. in accordance with a data reading instruction e.g. and stores the data in a packet whose header is pointed out by a pointer stored in the means 2. |
