PURPOSE:To separately execute two functions of the clearing function of the number of copied sheets and the stopping function of a printing action with one key while data stored in a page memory is printed and in a standby state on a control panel as for an image forming device provided with the page memory for image data. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a copying action is executed by utilizing the page memory 62, the display of 'a copying feasible state' is executed on the control panel 40 when the action of a scanner part 10 is finished even while a printer part 20 is actuated, and such a state that the next copying action can be set and started, is obtained. In the case that the clear/stop key 42 is depressed, it is interpreted that the number of copied sheets is cleared or the action of the scanner part 10 with respect to the copying action started last is stopped when the depressing time is shorter than some fixed time. When it is longer, it is interpreted that the action of the printer part 20 with respect to the copying action after the action of the scanner part 10 is finished is stopped. |
