PURPOSE:To reduce the work load on the instructor's side and to shorten the response time by automatically correcting answers and using a public line for data transmission and reception between the instructor's side and the student's side. CONSTITUTION:A correspondence correction control means 8 transmits problem data to a terminal equipment 4. The equipment 4 displays the transmitted problem data to a student 1 and the student 1 inputs an answer corresponding to a specified problem into the equipment 4. The means 8 transfers the receiver answer data to a correction means 10. The means 10 has correct answer data for every problem and compares the transmitted answer with the correct answer. If there is no error in the answer, a correct answer message is generated and transmitted to the student 1 through the equipment 4. If there is an error in the answer, the means 10 generates correction data which are transmitted to the equipment 4 by the means 8. The equipment 4 displays the transmitted correction data to the student 1.
