PURPOSE:To provide a control circuit for a brushless motor capable of variably controlling a braking force by using a low-function microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Switching means 3 for setting a plurality of coils of a motor 1 to short-circuit conditions and also a control means 4 for ON/OFF controlling the switching means 3 over a phase interval based on an electrical angle of a motor 1 are provided, and the control means 4 selectively controls the phase intervals so as to thin off the phase intervals. By doing this, each coil is set to short-circuit conditions continuously based on an electrical angle of the motor, and therefore a braking current as a generating source of braking force can be obtained and thus braking force can be secured. This braking force becomes variable by thinning off the phase intervals for short-circuiting the coils. Thus, stable braking force can be secured regardless of the simple control. |
