The cap comprises a plug (6) which consists of a disc (8), supported on the end section (2) of the container opening (1), and a skirt (10) projecting under the disc. The skirt has bulges (11) for ratcheting in the container opening. A continuous truncated security collar (7) which surrounds the peripheral wall of the disc extends towards the base from the disc. The collar is connected to the disc wall periphery by a series of radial breakable links. The security collar has a ratchet relief (14) conjugate with that on the exterior surface of the container. The disc has on its peripheral wall many notches and each link is situated between two notches with its rupture point located at its lower radial end.
