The hydraulic distribution device for a hollow universal joint comprises a hollow ball (1) containing fluid. This ball contains input holes and output holes (7, 8) put on the shells (3) and carried by the chassis of the hollow ball. Two rings (6, 5) make up the corset of the sphere and they are equipped with inlet and output pipes (9, 10) for the fluid. The hollow ball is mounted on pistons with sliding sleeves to compress the fluid, the pressure variations of the device being transmitted to a motor element.
