PURPOSE:To evaluate a pixel array for obtaining an image of high picture quality. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an image measurement part 1 which measures the two-dimensional luminance distribution of an image consisting of plural pixels, a convolutional integral arithmetic part 2 which computes a retinal image distribution for the two-dimensional luminance distribution inputted by the image measurement part 1, a recording part 3 which records the retinal image distribution outputted by the arithmetic part 2, a comparison part 4 which performs comparative arithmetic with a retinal image that is recorded in the recording part 3 and obtained by last arithmetic, and a display part 5 which outputs the result of the comparison part 4, and the retinal image is found by arithmetic to find specifications for obtaining equivalent picture quality between display devices which are different in pixel shape without any observation. |
