PURPOSE:To realize setting of a multi-point conference from a video conference terminal equipment inexpensively without an external device such as a MODEM. CONSTITUTION:A video conference terminal equipment 2 makes a call to a multi-point video conference controller 1 by an ISDN line 3. In this case, conference sponsor information such as number of conference participated terminals is set to a user user information element in a setup message of the ISDN. The multi-point video conference controller 1 receiving a call from the video conference terminal equipment 2 uses at first an ISDN line control section 1-1 to extract conference sponsor information from the user user information element and informs it to a central control section 1-4. The central control section 1-4 discriminates number of connected lines or the like and uses a line exchange section 1-2 to connect required line numbers and gives a command of call processing to the control section 1-1 when a all to other terminals is required. When the conference form is 1-1 conference or the like, the line exchange section 1-2 is used to connect lines only, but in the case of multi-point conference, a multi-point conference control section 1-3 is used to implement separation of picture signals and audio signals, changeover of pictures and addition processing of audio signals. |
