METHOD FOR MOUNTING CONNECTOR

PURPOSE:To provide a method for automatically mounting the connector for making electric connection with the exterior on an end of a printed board. CONSTITUTION:A connector 1 is vacuum-sucked to a nozzle 8 of a mounting head 6, and with the connector 1 lowered a tip of a first lead 3 is brought into contact with a first terminal 14 provided at an end of a printed board 11. Then the connector 1 is made no advance toward the printed board 11, thereby inserting the first lead 3 and a second lead 4 into the end of the printed board 11 to have the connector 1 mounted at the end of the printed board 11.
