PURPOSE:To surely collect untransmitted management information to a host computer by storing the management information and retransmitting this management information at a prescribed timing even if the management information to be transmitted from a copying device to the host computer is a transmission error. CONSTITUTION:A RAM 24 stores the data failing to be transmitted in the host. The management information stored in this RAM 204 is retransmrtted to the host computer 102 when a communication control means 101 decides untransmission in accordance with the state change of a copying control means 100 detected by a CPU 200. Then, the sure announcement of the untransmitted management information to the host computer 102 become possible. The untransmission is decided and the management information stored in the RAM 204 is retransmitted to the host computer 102 when the CPU 200 detects the change of the power source on-off state of the copying control means 100. Then, the untransmitted management information is announced at all times every time the power source is turned on. |
