PURPOSE:To obtain a CD-G KARAOKE player which can output a voice signal having an effect sound inserted precisely and automatically into music to be reproduced at a specific timing when KARAOKE is played by the CD-G KARAOKE player. CONSTITUTION:When one piece of music on a disk 1 is reproduced by the CD-G KARAOKE player, a system controller 7 finds the playback time of the music to be reproduced on the basis of TOC information that is previously recorded on the disk 1 and shows indexes, calculates a playback rest time from subcoding during the reproduction, and sends an address signal to an effect sound ROM 23 storing effect sounds and takes out the effect sound at the timing where the playback rest time becomes zero. The taken-out effect sound passes DAC 24 and is added with the output of a mixer 19 by an adding circuit 25, and the resulting sound passes an amplifying circuit 20 and is outputted from an audio output terminal 21. |
