The nozzle has crown-shaped groups of external flaps (6) and internal flaps arranged around its outlet opening. The internal flaps are formed by pairs of sub-flaps (8,9) articulated (11) together at approx. the mid-point of each flap. An annular control member (12) is located between the external and internal flaps. The control member is movable axially under the force of a series of actuators (13) located between the control member and the body of the turbine. The actuators are connected to both portions of the internal flaps, and indirectly to the corresponding external flaps, by a series of connectors (20,21,22) arranged to provide opposing axial components of their actuating forces.
