The safety system, which is activated by the internal tank pressure, consists of a piston (2) sliding against a spring (3) in a skirt (4) fixed to an obturator cover (5) pivoted on a casing (1). The cover is locked by a push button (7) subject to a pressure spring (8). The piston skirt is subject to a pressure spring (9) supported on a fixed part of the casing. The skirt is connected to the release system (11) of a gas container (12). Displacement of the piston frees the cover locking button which then releases a gas container filled with a neutral gas. The released gas inflates a balloon kept in the casing and carrying a supple tube (15), communicating with the atmosphere, which is led into the level of the gas phase.
