PURPOSE:To give no trouble to the fixing work of light projecting/light receiving fibers when they are stackingly arranged by hooking and fixing the optical fibers at the prescribed position in one touch via the action from the inserting direction into a housing. CONSTITUTION:A screw driver is inserted into a slit 9 provided on the lower face of an elliptic cam 9b, the long diameter of the cam 9b is located in the same direction as a blind groove 9c, and light projecting/light receiving fibers 3, 4 are inserted into the guide groove 9d of a base 9a from the front. Force is applied to the screw driver inserted into the slit 9h to rotate it, and the long diameter of the cam 9b is located in the direction perpendicular to the groove 9c. A moving part 9j between the grooves 9d, 9c is pressed to the groove 9d side to be deflected, the fibers 3, 4 already inserted into the groove 9d are pinched between rib-like lugs 9e formed on the inner face of the groove 9d, and the Jugs 9e bite into the peripheral face of sheathes of the optical fibers 3, 4 from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the optical fibers 3, 4 to fix them. |
