PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for image display capable of improving display efficiency by holding a drawing area for a figure, etc., by division on the basis of an update frequency of drawing. CONSTITUTION:Image data such as graphic data are stored in a memory area 8a. And, those image data are put one on another and displayed on a display device (CRT 1). For example, when the selection mark of a memory area 8b is moved, only the drawing contents of the memory area 8b are updated and the drawing contents of the memory area 8a are not changed. Consequently, the deletion of unnecessary image data and the image reproduction accompanying the deletion are unnecessitated and an efficient display process can be performed. |
