PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of an image forming device by energizing a by simplifying and miniaturizing the mechanism transfer roller by a resiliently imparting member so that tensile force is imparted to an image carrier by a movable supporting roller by press-contact force. CONSTITUTION:The movable supporting roller 10 is constituted so that the shaft thereof is supported by a long hole and it can be moved in the left-and- right direction. The transfer roller 5 is provided so that it can be moved in the up-and-down direction and pressed upward by prescribed force by a compression spring 12 being the resiliency imparting member. Therefore, a driven roller 10 is pressed leftward through a belt-like photoreceptor 1 at the press-contact part of the rollers 10 and 5 by the partial force of the press-contact force of the roller 1. Then, the prescribed tensile force is imparted to the photoreceptor 1. Besides, prescribed nip is formed by bringing the roller 5 into contact with the photoreceptor 1 by prescribed pressure force and an excellent transfer action is executed. By such constitution, the roller 5 can be made to come into press- contact with the photoreceptor 1 and the photoreceptor 1 can be also spread only by the spring 12 pressing the roller 5 by the prescribed force. |
