PURPOSE:To provide a flame sensor of a long life at high temperatures and of the very high reliability at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION:The flame sensor comprises a ceramic substrate 2, a cermet electrode 4 provided to a part of the ceramic substrate 2, inserted in a flame existing part, and a dense zirconia-protective layer 10 provided on the ceramic substrate 2 so as to cover at least the electrode 4 and having conductivity in time of high temperature. |
