PURPOSE:To make the insulation of individual superconducting wires forming a superconducting compacted stranded wire hardly breakable by winding an insulating tape on the superconducting wires, coating them with a varnish insulating film, then compact and stranding them. CONSTITUTION:An insulating tape is wound on superconducting wires, they are coated with a varnish insulating film, then they are compacted and stranded into a superconducting compacted stranded wire. A polyimide tape is used for the insulating tape, and an imide resin is used for the varnish insulating film in this superconducting compacted stranded wire. |
