PURPOSE:To provide a durable piezo-electric motor easy to assemble and having a durable torsional oscillation sensor for phase detection of oscillation. CONSTITUTION:A stator unit includes piezo-electric elements 22 and 24 and a piezo-electric element 30 polarized in a circumferential direction. When the piezo-electric element 30 is mounted on a position other than an abdominal position of torsional oscillation, for example, on a knot of the oscillation, two plane end faces are oscillated in opposite directions, and detection signals related to the oscillation are generated across electric plates 32 and 34 put on both sides of the piezo-electric element 30. Consequently, phase detection of the torsional oscillation can be carried out through the piezo-electric element 30. |
