PURPOSE:To reduce the developing, the manufacturing, the maintaining and the managing costs of an operator panel and to prevent an accident caused by the erroneous connection of the operator panel from occuring by enabling the identical operator panel to be connected to the vaious kinds of controllers of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The operator panel 11 is constituted of a touch panel 1 being as an input device, a liquid crystal display 2 being as a display device, a liquid crystal display controller 3 controlling the display 2, a serial interface 4 being as a connection device to a printer controller, a buzzer 6 and a microcpmputer system 5 controlling all of them and actuated by an instruction from the printer controller. |
