RADIO EQUIPMENT FOR AUTOMATIC METERING

PURPOSE:To provide the radio equipment for automatic metering with a high transmission efficiency by in which the similar reception rate to that for error correction by a conventional BCH code is provided and an overlook error rate is reduced as equal as that of a wired system. CONSTITUTION:A CRC coding circuit 3 adds an error check bit by a CRC code to data supplied from a terminal equipment or a terminal equipment use network controller via an interface circuit 20 and encodes the data, and a BCH coding circuit 4 adds an error check bit in a BCH code to the coded data and encodes the resulting data and the data are sent via a radio circuit 5 and an antenna 11. A BCH decoding circuit 7 decodes the BCH code from the data received by the antenna 11 and the radio circuit 5 and a CRC decoding circuit 8 decodes the CRC code from the decoded data and the resulting data are fed to the terminal equipment use network controller or the terminal equipment via the interface circuit 20.
